The short, petite girl didn't change all that much as she marched ever closer to going backwards through puberty. Sophie was quickly going backwards through her high school days. Brandon couldn't tell her if his memories of his 1st grade year of Field Day were from the first time he really was a 1st grader many years ago or from the new reality that was merely last year.

Yet at the same time, memories from the first time they were 5 and 7 years old were so vivid as to be indistinguishable from the new memories of the changed world that her power granted people.
